Maddie Leigh, Baby Sam, and Macer

We took advantage of going to the pansy sale and matched the kiddos. We never get to match because we don't go to church together, so usually we are in play clothes. Here are our matching ghosts...

Tori's Story Bike-a-thon

Last weekend we had the first Tori's Story Bike-a-thon to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. The kids that came raised $4000 to help find a cure. We all had a great time!!

Baby Kipton is Here :)

We are so excited that we have a new baby cousin in Huntsville. Rachel and Matt had Baby Kipton, and we were able to see him the day he was born. He is so cute, and we can't wait to see him again.

Proud momma who was a trooper through labor!

Family of 3 :)

No that is not David, I think he had run to the car. Sam is trying to figure out who Kipton is.

There's David...he had to touch his soft cheek.

So precious!!

The big boy in the bath

He got a little too excited and went for a swim

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Sam turned 1 on September 24th, and we got to have his party on his actual birthday. Why it has taken me 3 weeks to blog about it; I'm not sure. Anyway, we had a good time with family, and we feel blessed everyday to have Sam in our lives!! We had a nursery rhyme theme, and his smash cake was Humpty Dumpty. It was beautiful outside, so we got to spend some of the party outside. These are just the pictures from our camera, so I may add some on another post from other people's cameras. Anyway, here goes...

What is that?

No thank you...

He wanted nothing to do with his smash cake :)

Madison thoroughly enjoyed her dessert, though :)

Opening presents...Sam payed attention to the first one, maybe.

He was really...

really excited about his 4-wheeler!

Aunt Beth showing Sam what his 4-wheeler does.

Pairs...

This kid loves to play. The last week or so we have noticed that Sam loves to play with pairs of things. If he has one ball; he has two. If he picks up another toy, he will drop whatever is in the other hand and find the pair. If he can't find the pair he looks to us for help. It's funny to watch.

These balls are probably his favorite pair.

These are the other pairs that he plays with.

He is also starting to pretend some. He likes to "feed" himself...

and others :)

Poor little guy has had Hand, Foot, Mouth. He was pretty pitiful for a day, but today he was back to his busy self. (This was Bobo's shirt he has on, also notice he has a ball in both hands.)

He is learning new things everyday it seems like. He has almost mastered getting off the couch by himself. Also, now instead of just pushing and pulling doors from the sitting position, he thinks in his room he needs to close the door, stand up, and try to open it with the knob, which he can reach!! The little rascal :)
