5 Months

I have some other things to post to catch up, but I wanted to make sure I did Sam's 5 month post on the right day. I can't believe he is 5 months old! Sam is so much fun, and he is a very happy, smiley little boy.

At 5 months:

Very ticklish

Loves to smile

Loves to spit

Loves his exersaucer

Will eat about any fruit or veggie--except green beans literally almost bring tears :)

Loves when Daddy gets home from work

Whines to hear his voice

Still not sleeping through the night!

Loves to be in just a diaper--instant smile
Gives tight hugs around the neck--maybe not on purpose, but I will take any kind!!!

Hooray for Bathtime!!

Sam is really starting to have fun in the bath!

4 Generations

Grandaddy and Grandmerry brought Great Grandaddy and Grandmomma to see us. We enjoyed the visit.

Stuck inside!

Since it has been so cold and snowy lately, we have spent lots of time inside! But so I wouldn't go stir crazy, we have mixed it up and been to Mimmy's, Nenny's, and Nae Nae's house. Sam has also had a cough for about a week and a half, but I think he is finally getting over it! Yay!

He is liking more foods lately. So far his favorite is carrots.

He loves the exersaucer. Sometimes he forgets to play with the toys on it because he would rather jump.

Sam is really going to enjoy warmer weather because he gets excited everytime he gets stripped down to just a onesie or his diaper.

He is such a sweet boy!

Food with Flavor!

Yesterday, we started baby food! I can't believe we are already at this stage. Sam is getting so big, and I would prefer if he would slow down on the whole growing up thing. :) Anyway, yesterday he had garden vegetables, which he didn't mind. This morning we tried bananas and pears. He is not a fan of either yet. He actually spit some back at me. But not to worry we will definitely keep trying. :)

4 Month Stats

Sam went to the doctor yesterday for his 4 month check-up. Everything went well. He had his ears checked for the first time, and he didn't really appreciate them looking in them. He also got two more shots that he didn't like.

At 4 months:

15.4 lbs. (59%)

25.75 in. (78%)

Here are a few pictures of Sam's new trick. He is starting to be able to sit without support for several seconds. These pictures are of his best attempt yet; I bet he went almost a minute.

4 Months

Sam is 4 months today! My how the time flies. He is so much fun, and I think he is going to be a busy little boy.

This is his new smile. He likes to smile and talk with his lower lip pulled in.

At 4 months:

Likes rice cereal

Started growling

Can sit up by himself for a short time

Still getting up at 2 and 3 in the morning sometimes to eat

Finally for the last week or so he is going to sleep on his own at night

Still does not like to take naps in his bed

Still likes to smile

Sam is still a sweet and pretty easy going baby. He goes to the dr. Thursday for his 4 month, so stats to come...
