Lilly 5 Months

Well, I have definitely fallen down on the blog! However, in hopes of pulling myself out of this funk, I am going to try to start posting again regularly and catch up on the past YEAR when I can in hopes not to get further and further behind!!  Anyway, don't know that Lilly has even been mentioned yet on the blog, and she is already 5 months old!  I know that is terrible, but all I can do now is try to remedy the situation. :)  So, here we go...

Sweet baby girl is a VERY good baby.  She still really only cries when she is tired or hungry.  Her first tooth poked through Sunday, January 19! (Yes, before she was even 5 months) And the second one poked through today!  Can't believe she already has teeth.  Last Saturday, she did not nap well and was a little fussy, but other than that these teeth weren't bad.  I hope it is like that for the rest.  Also, this month we have gotten rid of her cradle cap.  She still has a couple of spots occasionally, but for the most part it is gone!  Woo Hoo! Now Tori doesn't have to ask about her "crust" every time we see her! :)

At 5 months:
Rolls from tummy to back
Sits up fairly well
Eats 1-3 cartons of fruit and vegetables per meal
Sleeps from about 8 to 7 with one feeding
Smiles and laughs a lot
Loves Sam and watching him play
Holds on to toys

These 5 month pictures were actually taken on January 22nd!

Still have a pretty serious face most of the time

These following pictures were taken before bed tonight.  Lilly and Sam were playing on our bed.  When Sam first got up on the bed beside her, she immediately rolled onto her side to get him.  He does not like her to scratch him :)  Actually the other day, he got up beside her on the bed and then told on her for "getting him"; yes, the only way she could reach him was if HE got in HER face :)  I love their interaction!! She loves him, and he definitely loves her, too!!
Sam was pretending to be asleep; he was "snoring"

Here he is snoring with his eyes open :)

Both kids are at a really fun age.  Lilly is getting better being entertained by toys, and she is definitely entertained watching Sam.  Sam is still very much in to ball!  He and David play every night still.  Sam is also really into games, too.  We play Candyland and Chutes and Ladders about everyday, too.  He is getting better about when he loses. :)
